Simply log into your Control Panel screen and then select the caravan you would like to manage. [toggle title=”How do I keep a track of my bookings & caravan usage?”]We know it is both useful & important to keep a track of when and how your caravan is being used. That is why we have included the functionality that allows you to record your bookings so you know who is coming, when and for how long. This can be found by logging in to your SimplyCaravan owner account, selecting the relevant caravan and then clicking Update pricing & availability. Additionally you are able to record any important, relevant information against each booking, in one easily accessible place, such as have they paid a deposit or when it is due or any special requests they may have. This makes it even easier to keep a track of & manage your bookings. You can also use this tool to separately manage any personal use you may have for your caravan such as any maintenance, cleaning or holidays. All this information is available in one easy to manage, convenient place.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”How do I reply to my caravan reviews?”]Simply log in to your SimplyCaravan owner account & select the relevant caravan. Click on View Reviews & then click reply next to the review. You can then enter a reply that will be displayed next to the review on your Reviews tab.[/toggle]

[toggle title=”What is an advertising & games pack?”]When you sign up you will receive a free advertising & games pack to help you promote your caravan & ensure your customers have a memorable holiday. The advertising pack contains posters that you can use to promote your caravan, complete with a unique QR code which can be scanned by a smart phone to link directly to your page. The games pack offers a bit of fun for your customers with a collection of traditional car and rainy day games. Simply email the games pack out to each of your customers before they start their holidays.[/toggle]

Simply click on the caravan you would like to promote and scroll down to the Promote Your Caravan section. Here you will see 2 options – Advertise Special Offer and Get on the Homepage. Advertise Special Offer allows you to advertise an offer by placing your caravan on the Special Offers page and adding additional text to you advert – in bold, eye-catching colours – to mark it out from the rest. You will also receive the added benefit of your caravan being featured on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Get on the Homepage allows you to place your caravan among the first that are listed on our Homepage. This maximises your chances of being spotted first by interested holidaymakers and ensuring your caravan receives the most booking enquiries. The cost of these 2 types of promotion is shown on our Pricing Information page.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What is Advertise Special Offer?”]This allows you to advertise an offer by placing your caravan on the Special Offers page and adding additional text to you advert – in bold, eye-catching colours – to mark it out from the rest. Types of special offer you can advertise is a % discount or £ discount – this is to allow the offer to be displayed effectively in the limited space and rigid layout of the advert. You will also be given the opportunity to add additional text and further detail that will be displayed in the full caravan profile that is shown once a user has clicked on your advert. This maximises your chances of being spotted first by interested holidaymakers and ensuring your caravan receives the most booking enquiries. Every time a user first logs on to SimplyCaravan or refreshes the Homepage your caravan will be shown at or near the top of the listings. [toggle title=”How do I receive booking requests for my caravan?”]All booking request are automatically received through the booking form located on your advert. Users wanting to book simply fill the form in with their personal details, proposed holiday dates and any additional information. This request is then sent to both your nominated personal email account (e.g. Hotmail) AND your SimplyCaravan owner account. You can then choose to respond directly from either your personal email account or from your SimplyCaravan owner account, whichever is most convenient. The main advantage of responding from your SimplyCaravan owner account is that you can update your caravan availability at the same time.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”How do I accept/decline booking requests?”]All booking request are automatically received through the booking form located on your advert. Users wanting to book simply fill the form in with their personal details, proposed holiday dates and any additional information. This request is then sent to both your nominated personal email account (e.g. Hotmail) AND your SimplyCaravan owner account. To accept or reject the booking request, simply reply to the booking requestor through your personal email or SimplyCaravan owner account messaging system detailing whether you would like to accept of decline the booking request. You will also have the opportunity to add any additional information such as booking terms or suggested alternative dates. The main advantage of responding from your SimplyCaravan owner account is that you can update your caravan availability at the same time.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”How do I update my caravan availability?”]This can be done in 2 main ways – at any time from your Update Pricing & Availability screen in your SimplyCaravan owner account, or when you receive a new booking request from your Message screen in your SimplyCaravan owner account. Your Update Pricing & Availability screen can be accessed at any time and allows you to select days that you want to mark as unavailable and select them as such. You can also record any associated details such as why the days are unavailable – maybe you are using the caravan for yourself or for friends & family, or maybe you are carrying out maintenance or repairs. When you receive a new booking request you will be notified by email and the request shall also appear in your Message screen within your SimplyCaravan owner account. When you access the Message screen you are able to see the details of the booking request and choose to either accept of decline the request. When you accept or decline the request your availability calendar will automatically be updated. So if you choose to accept the booking your caravan will be marked as unavailable for this time period, if you decline the booking the caravan will remain available for this time period. Details of bookings that you have accepted will be recorded in the Update Pricing & Availability screen, if you wish you can edit this information to allow you to manage your property. Owners are encouraged to keep their caravan availability as up to date as possible as this effects the accuracy of results returned when a user conducts a date based search.[/toggle][toggle title=”Can I receive payments for my bookings through SimplyCaravan.com?”]No – all payments between holidaymakers and caravan owners are made directly between each party and at their own risk. Although every effort is made to ensure SimplyCaravan.com is as safe and transparent as possible, SimplyCaravan cannot accept any responsibility for these transactions. Please see the Ts&Cs page for more details. Caravan owners are free to negotiate their own methods and timings of payment with their clients. This information can be communicated on the caravan advert on the Booking Information section shown in the Availability & Pricing tab. Next click on Update Pricing & Availability and scroll down to the Pricing tab. Here you can enter different pricing bands by selecting a unique colour, entering a price and then the applicable date range (multiple date ranges can be added for each price band). Repeat this process for each price band you would like to add to your caravan. The price bands you add will be shown in the colours you have selected on your advert. The cheapest price band you add will be shown on your advert as the ‘from price’.
